A Shared Commitment to Sustainability
At Roberts Recycling, we’re proud to work alongside organisations that share our mission to keep textiles in circulation. This week, our Directors—Simon, John, and Paul—were invited by Oxfam Wastesavers to speak with over 50 employees, reflecting on our longstanding partnership and discussing the importance of textile reuse, recycling, and sustainability.
Bringing Pre-Loved Christmas Cheer
In keeping with the spirit of reuse and recycling, our directors embraced the occasion by wearing pre-loved Christmas jumpers, proving that sustainability never goes out of style. The visit was an opportunity to reconnect with the Oxfam team, celebrate our shared achievements, and explore new ways to support the second-hand fashion movement.
Oxfam Wastesavers plays a crucial role in maximising the reuse and recycling of donated clothing, ensuring that garments continue their life cycle either as second-hand fashion or through responsible recycling routes. By working together, we are helping to divert huge volumes of textiles from landfill, supporting a more circular economy for fashion.
